Arrived yesterday......any places we should visit ?
So far it's pretty amazing
We walked in the main square and it was like a scene out of that Star Wars city... Tatooine !

The Mrs always wanted to go so booked it last November as a birthday present for me.
I had my doubts at the airport when about 75% of the people boarding the flights were couples...... male !!!

Hassled by shitehawks every 10 seconds, morning noon and night.
There's inly 2 gaffs you can get a drink (Hotel Grand Tazi on the main square, and a horrible dive bar I found outside the city).
The market is interesting, I'll give it that, but you'll get hassled by cunts so much that I guarantee you'll be back on this thread later today with the hump, wishing you weren't there and vowing never to return.

Having said that, at night when they turn the main square into a big restaurant it's quite impressive. And the tajine is good.

I don't know. It's the only occasion ive ever eaten tajine.
Hundreds of stalls set up, and every one of them sells exactly the same thing.
Tajine.
You'd think one of them would have the imagination to branch out and knock up some shepherd's pie or summat.

I went for two nights then got the hell outta there and went to Essouria.
Marrakesh square is crazy though and a must see.
Was everything I expected. Loud, colourful, smelly and full of nutters, snakes & monkeys.
